Mary Kate Davis Did Not Get The Chance To Progress In The Next Round

Even though Mary Kate Davis, a Cinnaminson teen swimmer, will not be joining in London as a United States Olympian, her family was not dismay. The family of the teen swimmer is not disappointed to her instead they were really proud of her. Her family is contented and happy with how she performed last Saturday.

Mary Kate Davis, who is only 15 years old, participated and contended in the 200 meters backstroke in the Olympic team trials of the year 2012. Unfortunately, she did not get the chance to progress to the next semi-final round. In the field of swimmers, they were 186 all in all. She got the 136th place in the list with a time of 2:19.93. It is just sort of disappointing for a lot of people the time difference of Davis and Missy Franklin, the winner, is only 11.58 seconds. Definitely, swimming is one of the sports in which every hour, every minute, and every millisecond indeed counts.

Mrs. Kathy Davis, the mother of Mary Kate, stated that even though she did not get the chance to swim to the next round, her daughter’s performance is still worth it because she swam really great. The grace was really great. Mary Kate Davis did not fail to swim in the race in a very good manner. She even climbed up by 35 spots.

The family insisted that they are really proud of what their very own Mary Kate Davis has accomplished.

The best part of the journey of Mary Kate Davis is that her family is very supportive and very proud of what she is doing. Whether she won on a particular competition or not, what matters most here is that her family is on her back because no matter how successful a person is if no one is supporting you, you will still feel defeated.
