Swedesboro man acquires 6 years in sex assault of a borough girl

A Swedesboro man, 22, was sentenced to six years of imprisonment last Friday because of receiving the charge of sexual assault of a borough girl last year.

According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect named Jason Watson pleaded earlier as guilty to assaulting the 14 years of age borough girl in a shed last April 2011 in Swedesboro. Watson is a resident of the 400 block of Second Avenue.

The authorities stated that Watson is knowledgeable that the victim is a minor. Watson is required to serve at least three years of the sentence that was given to him before being qualified for release on parole.

Watson will also be the matter to the state of affairs of Megan’s Law for sex lawbreakers succeeding his release.
