Planned Upgrade Of The Railroad In Woodbury Was Delayed

The planned upgrade of the railroad was delayed in Woodbury by the state transportation officials. The upgrade of the railroad crossing located at the Route 45 just south of Railroad Avenue.

According to the officials, changes to the schedule were made because of weather concerns. The closing now is to come into operation from 9:00 in the morning Thursday, November 15 up until 7:00 in the evening Friday, November 16.

The new date is also dependent on the weather as what the state Department of Transportation stated.

The existing infrastructure will be replaced by a new concrete freight rail crossing along with the asphalt that styles to it.
