Plane Crash at Millville Airport Hurt 2 People

At the Millville Airport, the emergency officials have been sent off to an airplane crash.

John Redden, Millville Rescue Squad Chief, detailed that the initial reports are stating that there are some injuries.

According to Jim Salmon, the said crash involved a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron plane. He also added that there were two people on board the plane. Jim Salmon is the spokesman for the Delaware River & Bay Authority.

Redden said that the passenger and pilot were flown from the incident scene through the means of medical helicopter. The fine points around the level of damages were not straightaway presented.

The plane crash happened about 2:30  the afternoon.

The municipally owned airport was operated by the Delaware River & Bay.
