Man Who Tried To Avoid Police Was Taken Into Custody

A man who attempted to escape last Monday was brought into custody.

It started when the police authorities have noticed a green Chevrolet Blazer with the vehicle’s flashers on sitting in the grass on the side of the road neighboring Woodlane Road and Indel Avenue.

The police have stated that the driver and car’s registration did not match with each other. The identification of the driver that was given to the police was Joseph A. Carter but after some investigation, they found out that the man  was Mark S. Carter.

The suspect has given the identification of his brother for him to escape the apprehension on numerous warrants for arresting him.

Mark S. Carter, 39, of Pemberton, was charged with hindering apprehension.
