The identity of a man who was critically shot by the police from North Jersey was released by the authority. The North Jersey man was gunshot over the weekend because he apparently went along with a knife to the police and attacked them.
Guy Gregory, the acting Hudson County Prosecutor, stated to The Jersey Journal that the 47-year-old Daniel Plato-Jacobo of North Bergen was murdered early last Saturday when the clash happened in an apartment in North Bergen.
When the callers have informed that Daniel had a knife and expressed danger will happen through hurting himself as well as others, the officers went to the building to respond. Even though the officers tried their best not to hurt Daniel, he still suffered a shot in his chest after he attacked the officers with his knife.
Daniel passed away a short time later at a hospital.
