Man’s conviction is reversed in Millville burglary

A man from the Cumberland County who was prohibited from appearing in his own burglary trial has had his conviction overturned.

Rodney Cullen and two other people were under arrest and sentenced with a burglary in Millville.

At the trial of Cullen, he initially stated that he did not want to give evidence on his own behalf but things on his mind altered the next and asked the judge if he could appear on his trial.

The defense had already rested, and the judge banded Cullen from attesting.

Last Tuesday, a decision was released. The state petitions court reversed the conviction of Cullen and requested a new trial.
