Palmyra Police Undergoing An Investigation About Copper Thefts

An officer of the Burlington County Sheriff who’s trying to work on foreclosure paperwork to a home on the 200 block of West Spring Garden Street in Palmyra last Friday found out that the front door of the home was not secured.

The Palmyra Police were taken in to do some investigation and from a property check, it has been determined that the copper piping had been removed from the residence.

The officers perform another property checks in town that looked like to be unoccupied and found out three additional vacant residences had been copper-stripped. Because of that the police authorities are working to catalog unoccupied properties in the borough.

As far as this, there are around 40 unoccupied properties that the officers had checked.
