Two Families in Millville Lost Their Homes Because of the Late-night Blaze Last Friday

According to the fire officials, a home from the 100 block of Middle Avenue that was under construction met major damage from the late night fire last Friday.

The new home on the same lot that was destroyed by another fire dating back in January 2011 was being built.

According to the Millville Fire Captain Doug Hallquist, the fire last Friday was brought under control in a ‘fairly quickly’ manner as the 21 firefighters of the city came to respond.

The blazed that happened before the midnight came fortunately did not cause any injuries to the people but it caused the two families to lose their homes.

Up until last Sunday, the reason behind the fire remained unsettled and uncertain.

However, the fire was under the investigation of the fire and police departments of the city.
